I'm proud to be part of this network of marketing professionals. I wrote the website and PDF copy. Andy Ormiston, one of the company's directors said, 'I wanted to let you know what great feedback we have had on the site so far and I've just put the phone down to another person - the third in three days - who has specifically commented on how much they like the tone, language and message. Gives me an opportunity to sing your praises to them and extoll on the virtues of 4ST but wanted to share it with you as I'm only just catching up on what a good job you, Mark and Tim have done for us.'
Website for Caspian Dental Clinic
Caspian Dental Clinic is a new, private dental practice. Their main target market is busy professionals commuting into London. Therefore the brief was for 'direct but not informal, professional but engaging' copy.
Sepehr Djadidian said, 'Thank for for a very professional job. I was most impressed with your attention to detail and passion for ensuring each word and sentence carried exactly the right message delivered in just the right way for our target market. I am sure we will be working together again soon.'
Cloudfinity provides cloud computing resources for SMEs. It's a new company that needed to develop its brand and position in the market. The strapline, 'The cloud where you can,' provides a hook for all the copy - with Cloudfinity you can - and reflects the company's positive, can-do attitude.
The mission statement describes how Cloudfinity can give SMEs the same IT power as their larger competitors.
Victoria was running an online competition and needed postcards to promote this.
Michelle Taylor was relaunching her company under a new brand and wanted new, fresh copy for her website. Michelle mainly works with people who have hair loss as a result of alopecia or chemotherapy. Therefore, the copy needed to connect with people at a time when they're likely to be at their most vulnerable, creating trust without a clinical feel.
Elaine Theaker's company provides legal services - a subject that can be hard to make accessible. As part of an update for her website and brand, Elaine wanted to communicate more directly with her potential clients.
I wrote the script for the video Elaine has on her home page.
Elaine said, "I'm really impressed with how you can condense a lot of waffle and still retain a clear message!" And after I'd sent the first draft of her video script Elaine said, "It's absolutely brilliant and just what I'm looking for!"
Brochure for King Relocation Services
King Relocation Services is a traditional estate agent that also supports corporate moves. They asked me to write a brochure marketing their relocation services to businesses.
Nick King said, "I'm really impressed at how quickly you picked everything up and how easy it all reads."
I've written some features for The Best of Monmouth (TBOM) website. Jacky and Andrew Knapp, who run TBOM, understand that for the site to work as well as it can for their clients, copy should be professionally written.
Each feature has to fit into a strict format, with restrictions on word count. They have to sell the business or organisation and the products or services they offer. And together the features have to show what is available in Monmouth, painting a picture of the town and it's character.
Andrew Knapp said, "Thanks Sarah. Another excellent piece of work - you really are a specialist at what you do."
Sales Letters for Sure Safe Gas Ltd
Sure Safe Gas are plumbing and heating specialists from Cardiff run by husband and wife team Matthew and Renee Bolton. They have an established business with domestic clients and wanted to break into new markets. They asked me to write two sales letters, one targeting bathroom supply companies and the other landlords and letting agents.
The first draft I wrote was spot on. Renee said, "I have spent a while looking over the draft letters and I think they are fab. I cannot think of anything that is missing or needing to be added. Thank you."
